Southwest Mushrooms documented eight years of commercial mushroom cultivation in Phoenix, Arizona. The remaining dried inventory is a final release. The books, SOPs, Grower's Circle, and cultivation software carry the work forward.

Founded by Michael Crowe in Phoenix, Arizona, Southwest Mushrooms ran a commercial mushroom farm with a focus on Lion's Mane, oyster varieties, and functional species. The tinctures, cultures, and dried mushrooms sold here all came from these rooms. The books, audiobooks, and SOPs are written from the same protocols used in production, not commissioned for the page.

Two HEPA flow stations, an industrial pressure sterilizer, and a culture library that ran Lion's Mane, oysters, Reishi, Maitake, Turkey Tail, Chestnut, and more. The protocols developed here became the backbone of the books and SOPs.
Thousands of blocks, tracked and documented.
Substrate was mixed, bagged, and sterilized on-site. Production blocks were inoculated from working liquid cultures and tracked from spawn to harvest. Every yield benchmark, failure, and fix went into the record.

Multiple climate-controlled rooms tuned per species. Shiitake on bare blocks, Lion's Mane in cascading pin sets, oysters running cluster after cluster. Every photo on this site is from these rooms, not stock.
